Gun Grip

Can I Really Benefit From Using a Gun Laser Sight?
Accuracy has always been a priority for shooters and hunters everywhere. The addition of a gun laser sight can pout you dead on every time. You have probably seen a laser sight in a movie or a gun/shooting show but thought they were just available to law enforcement or military personnel. This is not true and you can benefit from using a gun laser sight.
A laser sight is a simple addition to your gun that projects a red or green dot on your target. That dot is where you want the shot to hit. Of course, the gun laser sight has to be sighted in to be accurate, but even average shooters can be the Annie Oakley of the neighborhood by using one.
A gun laser sight is simple to attach to the weapon and can be added to just about any firearm including handguns, rifles and shotguns. Just like a scope, you have adjustments for elevation (up & down) and windage (left & right). The laser sight comes with a little tool to make that adjustment easily and quickly. The key is to practice as much as possible to be as accurate as you can be regardless.
For handguns, these helpful little aids can be attached beneath the barrel in most cases. Many handguns now have a mounting rail for the attachment. A simple turn of a couple of screws and it is there, tight and waiting to guide your next shot to the bull’s-eye. A gun laser sight runs on a standard watch battery available in any department store and can be changed easily.
Another type of laser sight is one that replaces the rear sight on your weapon. This type can be activated with a small switch on the unit or by a small, nearly invisible pressure pad on the grip. All you need to do is squeeze the grip and the laser activates as long as you keep the pad depressed.
One more type is one that is comprised as part of a new grip for your weapon. For this, you need to simply purchase the grip type for your handgun and the laser is part of the weapon. This type of gun laser sight is very low profile and adds no outward changes to the gun’s appearance. These also do not add any size to the gun, so your existing holster still works just fine. These typically have a small button on the inside of the grip that you press with your finger when aiming that activates the laser.
To “sight in” your gun laser sight, follow these steps:
• 1. Attach the laser sight to the gun securely.
• 2. Make sure it works and you can see the laser dot.
• 3. Load your gun and put the dot where you want the bullet to hit.
• 4. Look where the shot hit and keep the dot where you wanted it and adjust until the laser is in the bullet hole.
• 5. Repeat this until you can get every shot in the same area consistently. When you get it done, you will be dead on every time.
This may take several shots or even a box of ammo to get right, but after you get it adjusted, that gun laser sight WILL put you on target.
