Spice Up As The Burger King From The Ads!

We all know the face. The Burger King mask and costume is now easily recognizable thanks to the television commercials promoting the favorite fast food restaurant. Now you can join in the fun as well and be the well-known King!

The earliest picture of the King was featured on the sign of the first store in Miami, Florida in 1955. It was in the late 1960s and early 1970s in which an animated Burger King was used in advertisements to attract children to the chain restaurant. Today it is a King played by an actual actor that the King costume and mask were inspired from. It was in 2005 when they began selling the mask for Halloween costumes.

Two adult Burger King costumes are now around for purchase. The deluxe adult costume features a shiny red and orange robe with a white collar, a mask and a gold medallion. The second, called the standard adult costume, comes with a brown and orange patterned robe with a white collar. This costume also incorporates a golden Burger King medallion and a realistic looking mask. Both costumes come in one standard size.

Want to add to the appearance? White tights and black shoes could add to the costume, causing the wearer to resemble the commercial King much more! Such as the costumes, the King mask comes in two different adult versions as well. The deluxe mask and the standard 3/4 mask are both made of vinyl, and have the signature King look. The deluxe mask covers all of your head, whereas the standard mask covers 3/4 of your head. Each Burger King mask comes in one standard size as well. Each will transform you into a crown wearing, penny saving King!

The King mask is best known for the smile spread across the mask’s face. The Burger King mask also features brown curly hair, a beard and mustache and a Burger King crown above its head.

Since its debut, the King has been featured in not just commercials. The King, bearing the now well-known mask, has been seen on many spoofs on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and various movie promotions including The Simpsons Movie. A video game featuring the King costume wearing mascot, titled Sneak King, was also created in February 2006. Most recently, the King is reported to be featured in his unique upcoming movie!

Whether you are a fan of the King, the fast food restaurant itself or want to be ready for the movie, a Burger King costume and mask would be the perfect addition to anyone’s closet. It may even come in handy during the Halloween season or to have fun at a local barbecue!
