Information that are collected regarding Daylight saving Time shows that heart attack can result from constant upsetting of the Circadian rhythm. A research that was  printed in the New England Journal of Medicine showed that there is an increase in the number of cases of heart attacks after the first three week days of the Daylight saving Time each spring. The study was based on 20 years of data that had been collected in Sweden, highlighting one of grimmer aspects of the problems associated with Daylight Savings Time.​
