Cold and Cough: For treating chest diseases like cough and cold winter cherry proves to be an effective remedy. It is advised to take the root of the plant in the form of decoction or powder in 3gms quantity to have beneficial results.

Skin Disorders: It is advised that the leaves of the fomentation of leaves prove to be an effective remedy for treating the boils or swelling of feet and hands. To cure bedsores ad wounds it is advised that the ointment prepared by boiling the winter cherry leaves with ghee should be applied over the affected for the beneficial results.

Sore eyes: To cure sore eyes it is advised the fomentation of the leaves should be applied over the eyes to get beneficial results.
